A Mid-Year Update from The PWP

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again...we’re living in strange times. Sure, normality really does seem like a distant memory, but here at PWP, we can only be hopeful and optimistic that there is light at the end of the tunnel – we’re almost halfway through the year (yes, where has the time gone?) and there is a lot to feel positive about.
Summer’s coming, more and more people are getting their vaccine and we’ve even had some nice weather - is it too much to hope that the second half of this year sees a full transition back to normality? We don't think that's too much to ask for. But, as excited as we are at this prospect, it has to be said that we have really made the most of the year so far, even in the face of the pandemic.
So, here's a little update for you, on how 2021 has gone for us so far!
All staff are back!
We haven’t been shy in communicating that we, as a company, have been working to keep people’s water protected through every lockdown. We have thousands of customers who rely on us to keep their water supply free from limescale and unwanted chemicals and we have been able to keep doing what we do best with a dedicated and passionate skeleton staff. As well as attending to the needs of our existing customers, we have also brought pure water to new customers, proudly extending the PWP family!
But, with all of the success of safely working through the pandemic, during times of lockdown we have really missed the rest of our staff! A lot of our Pure Water People have been away from the office, working remotely and it really hasn’t been the same without them, so we were overjoyed to bring them back last month, as restrictions were being lifted. (We would also like to, once again, express our gratitiude to them for all of their help during lockdown with our efforts in helping Reengage with some important charity work).
We really are back in full force now, and we couldn’t be happier about it!
Going the extra mile
Even in the face of a challenging pandemic, we really have worked hard to go the extra mile this year. Whether it’s by helping with charity work (read our February blog about our work with Reengage for more information), helping our own customers during lockdowns with everything from shopping for essentials to changing lightbulbs, keeping up with our PWP followers over social media (we’ve made sure to post a lot of things that will make people laugh – little things like that can go a long way!) or by providing people with excellent and completely safe services and installations, we’ve made sure to go above and beyond because...well, it’s in our nature!
It has been amazing to be getting such fantastic feedback on our Which? Trusted Traders page as well! We’ve loved getting such shining reviews (well over 1,000 now!) and we are delighted to see how our efforts have been so highly appreciated by new and old customers alike.
Here’s to the rest of the year!
With having done so many positive things over the last 6 months, receiving loads of fantastic feedback from customers and bringing back our staff who couldn’t be here during lockdown, we are really looking forward to the rest of the year. Hopefully this summer can see the country getting through the pandemic and returning to normal.
