Here at The Pure Water People, we can do anything and everything to treat your home water supply.
Softening, chemical filtration, drinking water purification - we do it all, so you’ve come to the right place!
So yes, we have the right solution for you, the only question is...which one is it?
How we treat water
To treat your water the PWP way, we don’t only prevent limescale – we provide whole packages that treat your water for everything from hardness to chemicals and impurities.
We have three main packages – Silver, Gold and Platinum. These all have 3 main components.
The first thing the water goes through is the Chemical Removal Filter. As well as removing other chemicals and impurities, a major benefit of the CRF is that it removes chlorine. Chlorine is used to treat municipal water supplies by killing bugs and making the water safe to drink, but by the time your water reaches your home, it has done its job. Not only are you left with the all-so-familiar chlorine tastes and odours, but chlorine is very unkind to skin and hair, stripping the natural oils. Alongside hard water, it can be quite irritating to skin and hair (which is one of the main factors associated with hard water), so the water that you are bathing and showering with will be much kinder and gentler to your skin thanks to the CRF.
Next up is the softener. This will completely soften your water, preventing limescale build up and protecting your entire home from the effects of hard water.
As well as saving you all that time spent descaling and giving you beautifully soft water to bathe in, your softener will also be protecting your big appliances. Hard water affects everything it touches, and over time limescale is building up in your washing machines, boiler and radiators (not to mention the pipework!). This doesn’t only shorten the lifespan of your large appliances, with the risk of breakdown and expensive replacements looming over you; it also reduces their efficiency. For example, the limescale build up in your boiler inhibit heat flow and it has to work much harder to effectively heat your water. Hard water is costing you up to 40% more to heat your water.
Finally, we treat the drinking water. Removing chemicals and impurities from your drinking water promotes good health and provides great tasting, clean water for drinking and cooking. We can remove everything from chemicals such as chlorine and lead, to impurities including bacteria, viruses and even microplastics from your drinking water. Not only will you notice the dramatic improvement in your drinking water – you will also experience the peace of mind that comes with providing your family with beautifully treated water.
