Chemical Removal Vessel
CRV
Whole-House Chemical Removal Filter
The perfect partner to your water softener, providing whole house filtration and protecting your water softener resin from the damaging effects of chlorine.
What is a CRV?
It is a vessel filled with the highest quality food grade silver impregnated granular activated coconut carbon, that removes most of the harmful organic and inorganic compounds that may be present in your tap water. These include most pesticides, industrial solvents (halogenated hydrocarbons), polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs).
A CRV can be used on its own as a whole house filter, but is also the perfect partner to your Water Softener. Not only does it filter out all of the contaminants listed below, it also helps to protect your water softener resin from the damaging effects of chlorine, extending the life of your system.

Pure Water People CRV's are available in a range of sizes and capacities to suit the needs of your home.
The following dimensions are for our standard size CRV:
16cm diameter
52cm height
4.5L media capacity
Is a lingering taste of chlorine keeping you from enjoying drinking water from your kitchen tap?
If your home is receiving mains water, it's being treated with chlorine. This treatment is part of the disinfection process that makes your water safe to drink. However, once water reaches your home, the disinfection process is complete and the chlorine is no longer needed.
Unfortunately, though, the chlorine that remains in your water can affect how it tastes and smells. In fact, some homeowners find it so objectionable that they rely on bottled water to meet their family's drinking water needs. Our CRV whole-house filtration system can dramatically reduce the amount of chlorine and a wide variety of other contaminants that may be affecting the way your water tastes.

Tank-Inside-Tank Construction
The rugged filtration tank is wound with miles of glass filament and encases a second tank of sanitary plastic to ensure your drinking water never touches the interior fibreglass surface.

Superior Filter Media
SUPER HYSULEX™ activated carbon is manufactured to be cleaner, stronger, and harder than industry-standard carbons.

Third-Party Tested & Certified
This system is Tested and Certified by independent experts to ensure effective reduction of chlorine and 50 volatile organic compounds (VOCs). It's also backed by RainSoft's Limited Warranty.
SUPER HYSULEX™ Utilizes silver impregnated carbon, a more porous material than regular carbon; these carbons have highly developed internal surface areas, providing greater capacity for adsorption.
Manufactured to be cleaner, stronger and harder than industry standard carbons.

Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality, without adequate disinfection before or after the system. See Performance Data Sheet for actual reduction limitations.
Application Limitations
Water to be filtered should be free of oil and suspended matter, and relatively free of iron and turbidity for maxiumum service life in taste and odour removal. Actual results may vary based on local water conditions.
Maintenance Requirements
Filtering media will eventually become exhausted or consumed and need replacement. Replacement schedule will depend on incoming water quality and amount of water used. The Pure Water People can provide you with the recommended replacement schedule for your particular application.
